Too afraid to make a muse because they’re popular? Yeah I get that, sure the muse of your choice is a fandom favourite, and your fandom is popular, and it makes it hard to stand out but tbh there will always be new people to rp with you, you just gotta put yourself out there more actively than with a different muse. My advice is to just make your muse, but you have to approach people, and not wait for them to come to you.

Also, never feel bad if an rp’er you think is cool doesn’t follow you. Your follower count does not measure your worth as an rp’er. You might be absolutely amazing and only have a 100 followers, but let me tell you, from those 100 you might find friends, you might find other amazing rp’ers. I had this, I had a rp blog that barely pushed 200 at one point but the experiences I got there and the people I met was amazing.

You should never compare your follower count to someone elses either, the one you’re comparing yourself to might have been around for months maybe even years. Which means they’ve been here longer yes, but does that make them a better rp’er, no.

Never ever judge a book by it’s cover. The people with simple tumblr themes and minimal coding in threads might be the best people you find in this world, even the people you think are cool and “unreachable” might be the loneliest.
