//Let me tell you a thing.
There can be hundreds of roleplayers with the same characters as their muse- There could be thousands.
Never. Feel. Incompetent. About. Your. Skill.
Just because you find someone playing the same character, who may seem ‘popular’, or just like they’re doing a better job than you-
Does NOT mean the way you play them is wrong, or it isn’t good enough.
Because wanna know a secret? Everyone has dry spells where they barely have any replies to do or none at all. Everyone feels insecure about the way they play the character even with people reassuring them that they’re good. Everyone has someone who watches them from afar wishing they were brave enough to ask to roleplay with them.
And my favorite secret of all:
Every person that chooses to play a character, plays that character differently.
That’s what makes everyone’s muses so perfect. Because all of you have your own headcanons, quirks, traits- And it makes roleplaying with everyone so much more fun because you never know what you’re going to get. There is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ way to roleplay. If you give it your best effort, if you enjoy it, you’re doing it right.
Whether you were the first person to pick up that character or the millionth, there’s no reason to ever feel bad about the way you play your muse.
